Part of the Bateman Family Novels series
Jess Cardelle likes to fix people. She's used to being the helper, the dependable one. But God didn’t give her the chance to save her brother, Toby.
When Tim Bateman begins seeing Jess for physiotherapy after losing a limb in the same train crash that took Toby's life, Jess finds it hard to deal with his angry, bitter tirades.
How can she maintain her friendly, professional façade when her world is falling apart and she is helpless to fix it?
What an absolutely amazing book! I felt like Tim was really realistic and I loved his character growth. Jess was dealing with relatable problems and she was a really great character to follow. The growth of relationship between Milla and Zac was also really good. The whole book was amazing. I wish I could read it again for the first time because it was so interesting and every time I had to stop reading, I was sad!

I just finished reading the book today! It is so beautifully written. It was quite a tear-jerker (there were also times where I laughed too!). I felt a deep connection to the characters and the story. It truly has a beautiful message for girls and women everywhere that they can relate to. The novel is so full of love, passion- God's passion, every detail and word is truly a gift from God.

I learned much about Australia. I have it as a place I would like to visit.
Stories like this encourage me because I watch others struggles and see God at work. I am reminded God does more than we can ask or imagine.
HE HAS A PLAN. the question is will we listen and obey.?
I am glad I read this book and look forward to reading more.Mary M
