Game changer for Christians. This book is remarkable for many reasons. I'll start with the activations at the end of every chapter, based on that theory of multiple intelligences. This alone makes this a reference book for daily readings. Then there are the chapter summaries in a smart, clear and beautiful format, making it really easy on the reader. In fact, I would recommend starting from the end, reading the summary and then diving in the deeper text (and then going through the activations, one by one). And then there are the bonus resources at the end of the book. Nothing Earth shattering, but great for revisions after you finish the book. A really great work. I'll definitely pick it up again from time to time.

Practical Faith Steps Illustrated. Karen’s Companion Guidebook is like a hands-on map for spiritual adventure, complete with activities that hit every learning style. It's practical, personal, and gets you moving with its 'Activations.' Whether you're into music, need to see things drawn out, or you're a hands-on type, there's something in here for you. The book's journey illustration at the start is a cool touch, giving a glimpse of the pathway through hardships with hope. It's like having a chat with someone who's been through it all and still sees the sunshine. Grab this one if you want to feel like you're stepping forward with each page.

More than optimism, helps you go beyond yourself and see the bigger picture. It's unique from other devotional type books. This book is very spiritual and takes a look deep within yourself but it also helps you go beyond yourself. It's a meditation about you and God. The Love Letters were particularly delightful to read. They give you a glimpse in what God has in mind no matter what circumstances you are in. Get this book. It helps equip you with spiritual tools to deal with hardships, and if nothing else, helps refresh your relationship with God if you have been estranged.
